WALL-E, and HP
Dec. 5th, 2008 10:07 pmWALL-E!
That movie was SO CUTE and happy and beautiful, and sadly I think very indicative of the human race, and OH MY GOD I LOVE IT. Wall-E is adorable and ridiculous and amazing, and Eve was kickass and AWESOME. Although M-O was probably my favourite character. "Woah, woah, woah woah!" AND THE DEFUNCT ROBOTS WERE PRICELESS. ANARCHY ON THE CRUISE SHIP!
A++++ movie.
ALSO I READ THE TALES OF BEEDLE THE BARD. WHICH WERE ALSO AMAZINGLY AWESOME AND HAVE FOOTNOTES AND COMMENTARY BY ALBUS DUMBLEDORE; YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT - ALBUS DUMBLEDORE.
Who is brilliant and funny and witty and sarcastic and dead.
NB: The line "humans inadvertantly choose the things that are the worst for them"* is to Harry Potter as "I wish I could quit you" is to Brokeback Mountain.
*paraphrased because I can't actually remember the exact wording
...um, also I might kind of be watching the BBC show Merlin. It is definitely a great outlet for escapism. Dragons and knights andsubtext magic, oh my!
