1) Yay weekend!
2) Omfg I can't write essays to save my life. V.S. Naipaul, I know you're just doing this to fuck with us! Homework sucks.
3) It's a contradiction in terms: my life is full of epic boredom right now, but at the same time, I'm so busy it's crazy. WTF. No, scratch that. There are so many things I should be doing, it's crazy. I'm just. Not doing them ATM. Obviously.
4) I am grievously behind on both House and SPN (and MERLIN *tear*). This must be rectified! ...Eventually.
In other news:
T minus 5 days til legal adulthood. (And if that's not a scary thought, I don't know what is.)
T minus 2 days til "Decision Time Or Else". Status: Clueless. As always. Fuck me.
...my incipient mental breakdown, let me show you it.
I CAN'T DECIDE! Logically, I shouldn't even be complaining - oh would you shut the fuck up for once, I would like to post something on my journal without having to lambast myself first!
The Issue: I can't decide between Guelph and Queen's.
Guelph (Pros): The student life! Everyone seemed really energetic and happy to be there. And their official dance thing! Plus, dad went there and he had an awesome time. I think I would really enjoy the life there. Really welcoming atmosphere. :-D
Guelph (Cons): Uh. I applied for an Arts program. With a Major to be Determined. I want a career after I graduate, dammit! Why didn't I apply for something useful? I don't know how their academic reputation stands up to Queen's.And then - and then I checked their site and apparently I still have time to change my program choices, wut? So I was all "hmmm maybe I should ask them if I can still apply to the BComm program." And then I looked at the sample course schedule and remembered how much al;djDO NOT WANT was involved. But I want to make dad happy.
Queen's (Pros): Academics. I applied for General Arts, which unbeknownst to me, turned into General Arts & Science. Also, they encourage general first years, so that you're sure of what you want to major in when you move on. So that's awesome. And, they have a linguistics program, which I also think is ubercool. Not that I've ever taken anything to do with linguistics, but what the hell. Also: academic reputation.
Queen's (Cons): Student life. Does not seem nearly as incredible as Guelph. Actually seems kind of scary, but that might just be me exaggerating (I do that). The students all seem to be more conservative than I'm comfortable with? IDK. Also, again, enrolled in an Arts program.
But on the whole, I think I should say that I am completely batshit excited for September, no matter where I end up.
