Speaking (or writing, rather) of school, I have a dilemma. Yeah, what's new?
Is it possible to write an 800 word story about someone discovering and coming to terms with their sexuality?
I know that it would not be a good story. I know. Believe me, I'm only in grade 10, I'm only 15, what could I possibly know about learning to accept who you are? But that doesn't mean I can't give it a try. Especially since I spent the last 2 months wondering about my own sexuality.
I just want to know if it would be possible for me to actually write something like that worthy of a good grade. I mean, if my teacher thinks the plot/storyline/anything else is too involved, or complicated for me to handle, then I guess I'll try again on another assignment. But if my idea would be accepted, well, that'd be awesome.
As long as I could, y'know, pull it off without sounding like a immature, insecure teenager (which I probably will).
I have till Wednesday to decide.
Uh, not much else... it's easier to talk to the cousins now. Not so much of the akward staring at the floor now. That's good. :-DIs it possible to write an 800 word story about someone discovering and coming to terms with their sexuality?
