It has been a week!
Things I Gone Done:
MONDAY
- Went to the doctor's. My BMI is apparently normal, but she also thinks it would be a good idea for me to gain a bit of weight.
- Had Oma over for dinner.
TUESDAY
- Ran across town (approx 20 km) to visit Oma for lunch. Dear self: what what what were you thinking? Got to about Spadina and Bloor in the freezing rain, and was thoroughly disappointed by the lack of tokens/debit card/cash/anything useful ever in my pockets with which I could have theoretically gotten onto the subway. There was nothing for it! Hence, 2.5 hour trek. Fun times.
- After delicious pancake lunch of deliciousness, Oma and I ventured out into the freezing rainy wilderness AGAIN (intelligence totally runs in this family ;p). Did I mention the freezing part? Yeah, that. But we had a good time.
- Dinner with
cherishedsaulie .
WEDNESDAY
- Hung out with Eden for a bit. Watched most of Jesus Christ Superstar. It was... interesting?
- Went shopping in the evening with Mom. Achieved a cute pair of sandals! Now if only the weather would warm up so I could wear them...
THURSDAY
- Had lunch with Chloe. Thai food at the Green Mango, and then homemade lattes at her house. :D
- Tended bar at a book launch for author Christopher Moore and his new book From Then to Now. It was really chill and fun, and it was a nice way to make some money.
FRIDAY
- More shopping with Mom, followed by shopping with Oliver and
cherishedsaulie .
- Encountered cute sales associate at the Gap; he looked like the love-child of Jeffrey Buttle and BJou. Tempted to go back there and stalk him. should totally have slipped him my number, fffuuuuu hindsight.
- Watched Fast & Furious with Roxana. LOL @ early 2000s technology/ the main character whose name I can't be bothered to remember looked like a Backstreet Boy knock off.
SATURDAY
- 7 hours of manual labour in the garden. Took out all the rocks, unearthed and cleaned the plastic wrap, put the rocks back. Yes, it was as pointless as it sounds. But we managed it! David didn't complain at all the whole day, which I thought was amazing.
- Dinner and Futurama at Eden's. The food was good, the TV not so much.
SUNDAY
- Celebrated Mother's Day/Grandpa's belated birthday with the famjam. Cue epic freakouts over everything from outfits to eating the birthday cake. I am not proud of this, but I was at least able to pull myself together in the end.
