bitchy_merlinAUGH HELP MEEEEEE! I hate exams with an undying, unyielding passion. I'm no good at them. I spent the last two/three days (and partly nights) solid studying and my english exam was crap (but my french thing went ok for three hours of sleep), and now I'm really really nervous for bio, so instead of studying I'm revisiting the idea of the run-on sentence in this post. It's about a variety of stuff.
Item 1: I'm really scared for bio. Ms. M didn't even show up for the promised Q&A session today. Two days is not enough time to prepare!
Item 2: RL stuff. It bores even me, so it's not going in here.
Item 3: Speaking of books: has anyone read Terry Pratchett's Guards! Gurads!? BECAUSE IT'S REALLY GOOD. EXTRAORDINARILY GOOD. So, Vimes is officially my hero and Lady Sybil Ramkin is kickass like WOAH and Carrot is npaih;ahf;adf LOVE and dragons and excitement and YES PLEASE MORE.
But actually my favourite part of that book was Vetinari. Because. That man is a frikkin' genius. I still can't get over it: the dungeons and the rats and his whole setting up murder plots and GAH.
Item 3.5: Yeah, so still on the Vetinari thing. His intelligence is such a turn-on. And then of course, Captain Vimes is my favourite character. Me being predominantly a slashfan, my rose-tinted slash goggles are permanently affixed to my face. So while I really like Sybil/Vimes because it makes Vimes happy in canon, I personally think Vimes and Vetinari would have a very... interesting relationship. So, uh... if anyone knows of any Vimes/Vetinari fic, I am all ears.
Item 4: IF YOU HAVEN'T READ A DISCWORLD BOOK, GO REMEDY THAT RIGHT NOW.
Item 5: Brothers... can be gross.
