THAT? WAS EPIC. SO EPIC THAT I WON'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO SUMMARIZE THE WHOLE THING: I WILL MAKE A V. SHORT LIST ABOUT THOSE 2 EPS. BECAUSE SHIT.
THAT? WAS EPIC. SO EPIC THAT I WON'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO SUMMARIZE THE WHOLE THING: I WILL MAKE A V. SHORT LIST ABOUT THOSE 2 EPS. BECAUSE SHIT.
1. The whole structure of the thing. I really really loved how interwoven it was, with the hallucinations melding with reality and vice versa (speaking of realtiy mixing with hallucinations, CHASE'S HAIR WAS SEXY). It was dramatic and epic and engaging and PERFECT, OMFG. (Key points: Mystery Bus Girl and "what's my necklace made of?" and "who am I?" and House being all "i have to tie this around you" and "Stay with me" <--SO FUCKIN' GOOD)
2. HOUSE. OHMYGOD, HOUSE IN THIS EPISODE! WITH THE HALLUCINATIONS AND THE ARGUMENTS WITH THE BUS DRIVER GUY (FAV CHARACTER, BTW) AND THE "I'm going in..." LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
2. a) HOUSE'S EPIC GUILT TRIP ON THE BUS! (heh, the afterlife has public transit!) AND AMBER OMG, WITH THE "you kind of deserve it"
3. WILSON, JESUS MOTHERFUCKING CHRIST. MY HEART, IT IS BROKEN INTO A THOUSAND MILLION PIECES AND IT TOOK MY COHERENCY WITH IT. SHIT. When he was all "Amber can't be dying! I refuse to believe it!" And then they found her and Wilson was like shitshitshitshitFUCKSHIT and House being all "..." but acutally full of ANGST.
And when they eventually diagnosed Amber and Wilson was standing in the observation room just watching her until Cuddy came in. And then he just BROKE DOWN and it was the most heart-wrenching scene in any show, ever. Ever. I was reduced to gibbering and rocking back and forth on the floor. And then how he kissed Amber and turned off the machines? Aw man, I cried because it's Amber and he loved her and now she's dying and it's JUST NOT FAIR! *sobs*
4. HOUSE AND WILSON! BECAUSE! THEY JUST! I MEAN! YOU KNOW! ALDSKHFA;SLDKFHASERQWEIPR!!!! First Wilson being all hover-y around House, and then in the ambulance with Amber when Wilson was all *panicpanicpanicpanicPANICPANICPANIC* and House being all "Stay with me, Wilson!" and GUH. Intense.
MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE PART OF ANYTHING IN THE WORLD EVER: House on the Heaven!bus admitting to Amber that he doesn't want to wake up because Wilson will hate him. Yes, part of his reasoning is that he doesn't want to be miserable and in pain anymore, but mostly because he can't bear it if Wilson hates him. And Amber telling him that he deserves it. Amber, you sassy bitch. But then HE GETS OFF THE BUS ANYWAY because there's a chance that Wilson might not hate him. Have I mentioned how much I love this show? I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
Other things of note: POLEDANCER!CUDDY! Did anyone else think Lisa E. looked HOT in that scene? I think she looked HOT. Really hot. Almost as hot as Chase's hair (HOW have I survived an entire year without seeing Chase's hair?!). GUHHHH. Also, Chase! CHASE WAS SEXY. As usual, I mean, but you know, I haven't seen him in a year. And I love how House can't even get laid in his own mind. (Seriously, she was hot.) What else? Aside from the MASSIVE amounts of heartbreak that finale caused?
I can't even think coherently about it, which is why this summary only deals with the main points. (erm, also? New Team? NOT HALF AS COOL AS THE OLD ONE! But it was SO CUTE how the original Ducklings met up for drinks in the end! And why the fuck is Cameron blond? It really doesn't suit her.)
