bitchy_merlinso I just noticed and thought everyone should know that the song Epiphany from Sweeney Todd is the saddest, most heartbreaking song ever. I can't believe I didn't notice it before (I guess I was distracted by the golden spandex tights, which I still cannot get over, thankyouverymuch). Anyway, the part where Johnny Depp sings:
And I'll never see Johanna
No I'll never hold my girl to me - finished!
...
And my Lucy lies in ashes
And I'll never see my girl again.
I can't describe it... his wife died and he'll never get to see his daughter again, and oh God, if that isn't the most terrible thing I've ever heard, then I don't know what is.
... but the rest of the song doesn't get to me, because I think of it as hey Sweeney Todd's recruiting!
But those lines, augh, SO HURT.
ok, youtube=life. I DEDICATE MY OVARIES TO THIS FILM! (how many people have I dedicated my ovaries to? i've lost track) nonetheless, OMFG ALAN RICKMAN AND JOHNNY DEPP THIS FILM IS HOTHOTHOT! GUHHH I WANT IT!
