went out driving today (cause it's the second time i've driven in a month, and driving lessons start on wednesday...)
it didn't go as well as i would have liked. *cough*understatementoftheyear*cough*
... i almost got a ticket for holding up traffic at an intersection...
... then, i ran a red light ...
i don't want to tell anyone, but i don't think my depth perception is what it should be... i can't tell when to start braking. so yellow lights and stale greens are basically my worst nightmare.
i don't think i'm cut out to be a driver... but at least my lifelong dream wasn't to be a chauffeur or anything!
and now, the topic of the week: Gym.
it's all one big I DON'T KNOW.
list:
- i don't know when training is
- i don't know who my COACH is, for crying out loud
- i have no idea who my teammates are (and the one girl i do know is MIA, as it were)
- i don't know how to get there on my own
- i don't know if i'm ever going to see my old teammates again
- i don't know if the new teammates will even like me (i know i shouldn't care, but it's just so much easier if we all get along...)
- i don't know if i can even perform any of my old skills anymore. i haven't conditioned in about 3 weeks, but don't tell anyone.
this sucketh muchly.
what i do know (or can, at least, be reasonably sure of):
- training is probably from 12 to 4
- my coach may or may not be J. I hope it is. better him than... the other option.
- A is most probably in my group. If she's not, i'm not going.
- i can probably figure the route out via TTC maps...
- there's always facebook
- i may be able to do a cartwheel
what i want:
3) to be a better driver
2) to know more about gym.
1) A to email me and answer my effing questions before tomorrow
5) to be able to do all my old skills
