Sunday! The baking continues!
Bagels, part deux:

All in all, these were fun to make. I especially enjoyed boiling them - I felt like a kid at Wonderland, making donuts at Tiny Tom's. :D
Black pepper buttermilk biscuits:

The weirdly red ones I dusted with paprika prior to baking, because I liked the colour. These would be really amazing with soup, I feel.
And finally, la piece de resistance! I waited allllllll weekend to make this Smoky Cornbread with Corn and Peppers.

It looks like five different kinds of awesome, but unfortunately, only tastes like maybe three. :/ IDK, I was expecting much more oomph. Maybe if I had used jalapenos or something. I don't think I would put so much effort into grilling the corn and peppers specially for this bread again - normal cornbread is fucking amazing, so in the future, I'll probs just make that.
We do still have some grated smoked mozzarella left over. I'm probably going to eat it straight up. NOMMY CHEESE IS NOMMY.
