This day had a lot of potential to begin with, but now I think it's slowing down. Or something. I went for a long run today through High Park (a feat which would be so much more impressive if my running speed weren't slower than my walking speed) and felt pretty awesome.

Last night, I had a dream that I was running along the Lakeshore, and then I had to go to the washroom. So I ducked into the nearest public washroom and was doing my business, when suddenly, one of the women I work with appeared outside my stall. You know how there are gaps between the door and the frame in most public washrooms? The woman stood there, staring in at me as I was going to the washroom, and kept talking about how much it turned her on, and how she was going to have her way with me when I came out of the stall. I was sitting there thinking "What the fuck? This totally counts as sexual harassment, doesn't it? Oh my God, I'm being sexually harassed. What the fuck?". And then I woke up. WHAT IS IT WITH ME AND BEING HARASSED IN WASHROOMS? First Sam and Dean, now people I work with...

Anyway, in terms of IRL, I fulfilled one of my New Year's resolutions yesterday: I got my G2. (Yes, it took me three years. Hush.) Now I am safe for twelve months until the G road test, hurrah! :D  It was kind of worrying at the end, no lie, when the examiner said, "Ok, now back into one of these parking spots." (reverse stall parking). I was like, "%UH WUT" because I had not practiced that parking maneuver in, uh, three years. It was very messy. BUT I PASSED, and that's all I care about!

(Later: Sarah: "...and then he asked me to stall park!"
Dad: "I know."
Sarah: "And as I was trying, I kept thinking to myself I hope Dad isn't watching this."
Dad: "Oh, I saw. But after the first try, I couldn't watch anymore.")

COMPLETELY OT: Currently reading Les Liaisons Dangereuses. HOLY CRAP, I LOVE IT. The Vicomte de Valmont and the Marquise de Meurteuil are my FAVOURITE CHARACTERS EVER. They are so manipulative and snarky and MADE OF WIN. I love how they are constantly trying to one-up each other, and although I'm only halfway through, I really want them to succeed in their nefarious plans to screw everyone else over. ♥

THINGS OF GREAT IMPORT: Inception is my crack. I love it. I looooove it. I love this fandom - read: Kink Meme - to itty bitty pieces. (I mean, I love all my fandoms to itty bitty pieces, but OMG THIS ONE HAS PORN FIC ABOUT JGL AND THREE PIECE SUITS. And also Saito/Old Spice Guy, which makes the world a better place. )
