I ATEN'T DEAD!

just really rather busy. What's new with you guys?
Canada Day parties? Spent it hanging out with C's mom's rich acquaintances. The dude lives on the lakeshore, that house that looks kinds like the front of a boat. Him and his friends they're all so fucking rich, I don't understand. There's a ten year old girl with a cell phone. And, upon seeing a dog, she immediately goes to her father: "daddy, why can't we have dog like that instead of just Simba?"
Who was an immaculately groomed dog, if I might add. Anyway, there was more food there than in a lot of convenience stores... and they served these cute little cocktails with Canadian flags on the straws.

It was the weirdest thing ever. They were so patriotic. It felt sort of misplaced because while I am all for Canada in general terms, I've never really celebrated Canada Day officially except for fireworks. Because, c'mon, it's an excuse to play with pretty explosives. What's not to love?

Next: Summer English credit. WHAT WAS I THINKING? It's the third day and this is driving me crazy! I'm not even kidding, I can't stand this. Something just... gets to me and I don't know what it is. Ugh. But I'm reading The Wars by Timothy F.... can't remember his name. It's pretty good so far as school books go. And we start Hamlet next week. But I. Cannot. Wait. For. August. OMG.

Furthermore: rugby. Had the most awkward hour of my life on wednesday with coach A. jesus fuck. You are under no obligation to make conversation with me. At all. It's not like I'd have anything interesting to say anyway, and we'd both prefer it if you didn't have to pretend to listen to what I'm saying and I didn't have to pretend to want to talk to you. In my mind, there is a lovely fucking massive wall between Coach and Athlete. It's hard for me to blur that wall. It results in car rides like I've just mentioned.

And finally: Boy T. at school is, I kid you not, an almost perfect representation of Moony. He's into Shakespeare and literature in general and all that jazz. He seems pretty nice, though he's a bit too outspoken to really be a Moony. But, um. He's got red hair. And he's smart and good at debates. I, um. He's kind of cute. I flip for redheads. Ahhh, the random trivialities of life...

To sum up: This weekend I'm going to apply for jobs jobs jobs.

Finally: discworld still = love
