Snippet from a fic I'm reading:
Bones: Jim, are we dating?
Jim: Sort of.
Bones: Shouldn’t there be more sex?
Jim: You said not on the first date.
Bones: I said not on the first date unless it includes breakfast.
Jim: So, um, breakfast in my quarters? Tomorrow morning?
Bones: Works for me
Jim [leering]: Or…
Bones [growling]: Yeah?
I don't know what it is, but something about the image of McCoy growling is just so fucking hot, I can't begin to explain it. Suffice to say, it makes my toes curl, and if I had Karl Urban here right now... let's just say he wouldn't need a microphone.
