Tagged by topaz_eyes butt-fuck ages ago, so here, finally, is the Fandom Meme:

The rules are simple, if you're interested leave a comment and I'll LJ stalk you to find THREE FANDOMS you apparently love. And then you answer these questions about them!
1) What got you into this fandom in the first place?
2) Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?

Harry Potter

moonangelchan . IT WAS ALL HER. Or, rather, she introduced me to the marvels known as potterpuffs (back when it was updated) and I think I got carried away from there. Hello, SBP, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
remusxsirius and tons more comms. That was... Jesus Christ, I can't even remember. I was twelve? So... holy shit, 6 years. WTF.
2) I'll give you a hint: I'm dressing up for the HBP movie! I think Harry Potter is my staple fandom. I mean, I'm maybe not as into it as I was, but I love periodically looking in on it and I think I'll always kind of be attached to it.
3) HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN, WHAT? HANDS DOWN, NO QUESTION. Not only did it introduce my favourite characters (O HAI THAR, REMUS/SIRIUS), but it ... no, yeah, definitely R/S alllllllllllllllll the way, please and thank you.
4) *shifty eyes*... There may or may not have been some shitty little ficlets I cranked out way back when I wa younger and stupider. But nothing recently.
5) YES but through the books first, not simply through the movies. I am of the opinion that it is always awesome to have more people in a fandom.
BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN
1)moonangelchan . Again. Yeah, none of you saw that coming. One day we were all like "I'm bored", so then we went and rented the movie (This was about a year ago?).
2) TBH, this was kind of a one-time deal. I checked around after we finished the movie and didn't really find much out there. So, I guess I would say I've already moved on.
3) OKAY, CLICHE: I love the "I wish I could quit you" scene because it was romantic and heartbreaking and made me go BAWWWWW (not that that takes much). Just- just - them. Yes.
4) No, because I don't know that I could do it justice.
5) Always. Really, I don't think there's a fandom I'm in which couldn't use more people.
DEAD POETS SOCIETY
1) ROBERT SEAN LEONARD. I was deep, deep into House at the time and pretty much anything involving one or more of the actors from House was looking pretty shiny to me. So I heard RSL starred in DPS, and I also gathered that DPS was a sensational film so I finally, finally got the chance to sit down and watch it, and I was blown away. Neil, Todd, Charlie, Meeks, boys.
2) Mmm. As it is, I'm on the very faintest edge of this fandom too. It's a mood thing. Sometimes I want to see what's up, others I'm more interested in other things.
3) Umm... favourite scene? Probably the flying desk set, because that literally had me laughing out loud. :-) Oh, guys. OR PERHAPS THAT ONE SCENE WHERE MEEKS AND PITTS BUILT A RADIO AND OHMY GOD THE DANCING AND JUMPING AND I LOVE THEM SO MUCH <3
4) No participation on my part; I just oogle everyone else's talent.
5) Hells yes.
STAR TREK
L;AKSDJF;LAKSDFJ SO I FELL IN LOVE.
Knowing nothing about it, we went to see the Stark Trek movie on Saturday. The opening scene made me cry, not gonna lie. AND THEN. AND THEN. There was Kirk! And Spock! And McCoy, Christ in heaven! AND I LOVED EVERYONE. (Especially Simon Pegg (d'aww) and Karl Urban (missed his hair, though).) And Sulu's motherfucking fold-out katana , along with Chekov's "I can do this!" and - just - everything!
(I really want to go flail about it some more, but I'm not hardcore enough for it, and will restrain myself until after I've watched the original series. SPEAKING OF WHICH: THE NAKED TIME=IN MY PANTS, PLZKTHNX SULU.)
ALSO THIS. AND THIS. BECAUSE IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT... JESUS CHRIST WHY ARE YOU EVEN FINISHING THIS SENTENCE?
