festina lente, aka latin is relevant to my interests

aldkfjl;awekr;asdf;asd NEVER AGAIN.

I was at school for literally 12 and a half hours today. Got there at 8:00 am, left at 8:30 pm. >.< omg I am exhausted. And my insides feel kind of life they're going to escape via my mouth. It's a good thing I have no homework/life/anything meaningful to interfere with my nerdishness.

But it was fun! Mostly. After I'd survived the back to back math/bio tests and seminar presentation thing. Well, the seminar was postponed to Monday, so all I really did was sit there and hyperventilate for 52 min.

Anyway, the important thing is that school was dismissed at 12:30, so I went home for 10 minutes, ate what could charitably be called lunch, and dashed back to school to chill with C and other cool people attending Classics Conference. I love classics students, they're all so awesome and quirky and hilarious. Also, I met a girl who is not only a Harry Potter fan comme moi, but can quote from Growing Up Cullen! She's hilarious, and there was much laughing and making an idiot of myself. Gods, I'm excited for Classics! April! And then from 1:30 to 5:00 there was a bake sale of epic proportions in the main foyer. It was great. All the teachers' purchases were charged to the principal's tab, so they were all like "Oh, well if that's the case.... I'll take two!"
Excellent for profits.

Then, at five, I dashed home, threw on a black shirt and ran back to school (again). I was maybe away from the place for twenty minutes in total, the entire day. At 5:15, I went to meet Ms. D; I was her 'secretary' for parent-teacher interviews. OH MY GOD, it was the most boring 2 1/2 hours OF MY LIFE. But I get volunteer hours for it, so whatever. At 8:00 (finally!) I went to help clean up the bake sale, and discovered that during the evening session, the teachers' tab had racked up another impressive amount, while the cash totalled approximately four hundred dollars. More than enough to pay for Classics Conference for one person. If this continues, our prices will be less than three hundred each. I hope.

All in all, it was an awesome - if extremely draining - day. And, what's more, I've got a spare first thing tomorrow (ooh yeah!) and also Latin.

Ok, now sleep. *collapses*
