ALSD;FKJA;DFA; HOMG SO. I JUST* FINISHED PTERRY'S THE TRUTH AND WOW OK GUYS WOW.
I'm not really sure how to be coherent about the plot, but here, have some random jot notes I made to myself as I read:
- I WANT MOIST/DE WORDE MORE THAN WORDS COULD POSSIBLY EXPRESS. And that's the truth. They'll take the city by storm.
- OMFG Vimes and Vetinari coordinate their gazes! "Just a little too long" my arse.
- "I know, sir," said Carrot. "They are the facts, sir."
"But they're not the right facts! They're stupid facts!" (p.110)
--> Oh, Vimes. ILU
- Vimes. And Angua after the scent bomb. Oh, Vimes, you really do care, you abrasive, wonderful bastard.
- Vetinari = CITY BOSS. Trufax.
- So if Charlie is Vetinari's decoy... fic wherein Vetinari uses Charlie to escape a boring ceremony and has HOT FURTIVE SEXY TIEMZ with Vimes, who is likewise trying to skimp on Official Duty - Y/Y/Y? *puppy dog eyes*
In other news, the bronchitis is fine. Because as a human being, I have no need for oxygen at all. Really.
